 I believe in David's work ethic and know how important it is to himto reflect back on the yesterdays of Paducah in order to build a much better tomorrow for the citizens who live in Paducah.

David has shown and proven that he is a team player that listens with respect and aim to improve the quality of life in our community for everyone. David has shown that he can stand alone when he believes he is standing for what is right. 

It is these qualities including honesty and straightforwardness that makes me believe and trust David's leadership.

Having known David for over 25 years, I can personally attest to his strong work ethic and absolute integrity.Paducah has been blessed for many years with wonderful leaders on our City Commission.David is in the mold of leaders in the past and present who have unselfishly, and with vision, made important decisions to improve our community. He has run his own business for most of his life and understand how things work and how to get things done. Most of all, with David, what you see is what you get.      I have known David for 27 years, both personally and professionally.  David truly is one of the best people I know.  He is a wonderful husband, father and friend.  My father once told me that a true friend is one that is always there when you need him.  I can honestly say this about David.  I can’t even begin to state the ways David has helped me over the past several years.  I am one of many that he is a friend to.  

David exhibits many traits of one with true, genuine character: honesty- integrity and a rock-solid work ethic.  His love for his family and Paducah are evident.  He has invested immensely in both.  I would be very proud to see David Guess as a leader for Paducah.  There is no better man for this position
