"As a city commission member, I find my capacity to effect change is limited. Paducah's reputation for being challenging to work with may be a hindrance to our growth. If elected as Mayor, I will prioritize the establishment of a business-friendly environment, foster collaboration, and engage the community by enacting a program "PADUCAH"S GROWTH, YOUR VOICE". As the only elected official having experienced the complexities and costs associated with delays and bureaucratic hurdles firsthand, I recognize the necessity for change.

With unwavering dedication, my goal is to completely transform our city into a haven where all residents can live, work, and thrive in exceptional ways. Drawing from my invaluable experience on the city commission and my prosperous entrepreneurial endeavors, I am devoted to promoting inclusivity and ensuring that every voice is valued in our decision-making processes. My approach to decision-making concerning your tax dollars is straightforward: I ask myself, "If Paducah were my own business, what would I do?" and I have asked others the same question.
My commitment lies in the judicious use of taxpayer money to meet community needs, optimize advantages, and ensure transparency and accountability. I stand against wasteful expenditures, as evidenced by my disapproval of the $53,000 water bowl for the dog park project.
The City of Paducah and McCracken County offer overlapping services; consolidating them could result in financial savings for everyone.

improve economic development

It's interesting to note that in 1966, Orlando, Florida, was comparable in size to Paducah. Paducah's challenging reputation may be a growth impediment. Being the only elected official with direct experience, I recognize the complexities and costs related to delays and city bureaucracy challenges. Change is necessary. Improving these aspects would render Paducah more appealing to residents, businesses, and tourists, thereby stimulating economic development, enhancing quality of life, and strengthening community ties.
If our small businesses are successful, Paducah is successful. As a small business owner myself, I recognize the importance of providing resources and support programs for small businesses and startups. Even just sharing on social media.
Cultivating community involvement is crucial. Engaging residents in decision-making and valuing their contributions to economic development projects is fundamental. The "Paducah's Growth; Your Voice Program" is dedicated to establishing avenues for conversation, guaranteeing that the community's desires and goals are addressed.

Again, acknowledging the necessity to tackle Paducah's reputation for being difficult to collaborate with is crucial. Could this be hindering our expansion? I intend to increase efficiency, improve productivity, reduce bureaucracy, and ultimately render Paducah a more attractive and accessible city for residents, businesses, and tourists. This approach will foster economic development, enhance the quality of life, and strengthen the sense of community.

Invest in service-oriented grants, not agenda driven grants

Grant funds should be allocated to benefit the community rather than to serve personal interests. I am committed to ensuring that these resources are utilized to offer essential services to the people of Paducah.

Revitalize our Streets

Investing in road enhancements leads to better infrastructure with smooth pavements, well-defined lanes, and speed bumps for family safety. Attractive streetscapes attract businesses, boost property values, and stimulate economic development. A revitalized streetscape creates a welcoming environment for locals and tourists alike, encouraging them to spend time and money in local businesses.

Continue to Enhance the Stormwater System

A strong stormwater system bolsters the city's resilience against extreme weather events. Ongoing investment in infrastructure enhancements allows Paducah to more effectively face future climate-related challenges, safeguarding the well-being of its community. Paducah has a proactive plan, which has enabled increased spending beyond the allocated budget in recent years. This commitment is crucial for flood prevention, property and infrastructure protection, public safety assurance, and the promotion of a sustainable, resilient community.
